6th Biennial EDAC-ATAC Conference Call for Abstracts

The EDAC-ATAC conference planning committee invites you to submit abstracts for the 2018 conference held October 12th and 13th, at the Marriott Hotel, Ottawa, ON. 
Our conference theme is “Capitalizing on an Evolving Evidence Base”.

Topics:  We welcome abstracts reflecting new information regarding clinical practice, research, and emerging theories in the field of eating disorders.   

Presenters/authors have the opportunity to submit their abstract in one of three formats:

  1. Workshops:  Workshops are 90 minutes in length.Workshops must include a formal presentation and time allotment for Q&A. An interactive component is preferred.
  2. Papers:  Paper presentations are 15 minutes in length.Abstracts target current qualitative/quantitative research, clinical initiatives and/or emerging theories or policies in the field of Eating Disorders.Abstracts not selected for paper presentation will automatically be considered for poster presentation.
  3. Posters:  Posters present current qualitative/quantitative research, clinical initiatives and/or emerging theories or policies in the field of Eating Disorders.

Keynote speakers include:
Dr. Blake Woodside, MD, FRCPC, FAED on The Intersection of Neuroscience and Cognitive Psychology in Eating Disorders
Dr. Lucene Wisniewski, PhD, FAED on Navigating Difficult Conversations in Patients with Eating Disorders and Suicidality
