The Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care wants your input on an upcoming Canadian health care guideline

Parents OR Youth - $50 for phone study on depression screening!  REB# 19-033

The Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care (CTFPHC) was established by the Public Health Agency of Canada to develop evidence-based guidelines for preventive health care in Canada. The CTFPHC would now like to get your input on an upcoming screening guideline topic: screening for depression in children and adolescents.  By taking part in this research study, you can play a valuable role in helping the CTFPHC produce guidelines that can help your doctor provide you with high-quality care. Furthermore, you will have an important opportunity to shape new guidelines for health care in Canada.

As a participant, you would complete:

  1. Pre-focus group online survey in October 2019 (30 minutes)
  2. Focus group over the telephone in November 2019  (60 minutes)
  3. Post-focus group online survey in November/December 2019] (30 minutes)

To participate you must:

  1. Live in Canada
  2. 'Be between the ages of 12 – 17 years old’  OR  ‘Be a parent of a child (or children) under the age of 12’

You will be compensated $50 for completing all 3-project parts
