Fluid rentention slow to resolve in clients recoverying from a long term eating disoder


I am interested in 2 things
1) Hearing about other clinicians experiences in working with longer term clients in recovery and coping with slow to resolve fluid retention (ie 6-12 months).
2) Having a better understanding of what the physiological workings of the fluid retention are so I can better help my clients cope and know if there are any nutritional strategies that can help to speed the resolution if the fluid retention.
