A 6-time award-winning actress Kayden Brenna Tokarski is 13 years old and is a powerhouse of performance.
Kayden portrays young Julia Roberts (Martha Mitchell) on the political thriller television series Gaslit. The series premiered on Starz on April 24, 2022, and stars Roberts, Dan Stevens, Sean Penn, Shea Whigham, and Betty Gilpin.
The child actress has starred in several other films including Amazon Prime’s My Melancholy Baby (2021). She played the role of Lily Burrows in the short film and appeared alongside Sage Kirkpatrick, Tank Jones, and Dylan Sharon.

4. Kayden Tokarski Earned A Starring Role In Apocalypse Love Story
Kayden Tokarski got the first taste of her success after being cast in the starring role “Apocalypse Love Story.”
She was a sixth-grader at Aliso Viejo Middle School when she earned the lead role in the independent film directed and written by Justin Wilder Neese. The film focuses on an 8-year-old girl Sam (Kayden) and an 8-year-old boy James (Byron McCray).
Both kids are the sole survivors of an ecological worldwide apocalypse. The director described the movie as a tale of self-discovery, friendship, survival, and love. It was filmed at several locations around Southern California.
Tokarski auditioned for the role of San after her mother, Kelly, saw the casting call for the part. After a couple of months, the actress got the good news. Initially, Justin was considering two other actors for the parts but was captivated by Kayden.
The more he watched Tokarski and her videos on social media, the more he was caught by her ability and energy. He began recasting and she was his first choice. Justin says, “Every day, I was more blown away by her skills.”
6. She Is A 6-Time Award-Winning Actor
Orange County native Kayden has won six best acting honors in less than two years since her debut.
The 13-year-old actress won her sixth Best Young Acting Award since 2021. Most recently, Tokarski won an award for Best Child/Young Actress from the Indie Short Fest Los Angeles International Film Festival on September 29.
Kayden won a 2022 Silver Best Acting Duo and a Gold Best Young Actress Award from the Independent Shorts Film Festival for her remarkable performance in “I Miss Her, Too.” She also won the Best Actress Award from Vegas Shorts.
Following her performance in the 2021 independent movie “Message from the Mermaid,” Kayden won two best Young Actor Awards. She received the International Gold Best Young Actress Actor at the Venice Shorts Film Festival.
