New PATSED 'Let Us Eat Cake' Podcast

The Provincial Adult Tertiary Specialized Eating Disorders (PATSED) Program dietitians Ali Eberhardt and Hannah Robinson are excited to announce the launch of their new podcast “Let Us Eat Cake”, coming this summer, 2019!

Ali and Hannah recognize information about nutrition is endless, confusing… and convincing. It’s their mission to break down this mis-information from diet culture by using science and explaining how bodies and nutrition actually work.
This podcast will provide evidence-based nutrition information that supports physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Podcasts are a current, relevant and effective information source and can serve as a method to reach individuals who experience barriers accessing treatment or trustworthy information. Listener engagement is a priority of the podcast which is why each episode is dedicated to discussing the questions and topics the audience generates and is curious about. Questions and topics are generated from a variety of sources including social media (Instagram and Facebook), email and the Let Us Eat Cake website. The Let Us Eat Cake podcast will be available on Spotify, Apple Podcast app, Sound Cloud and through an RRS feed on their website. To stay up-to-date with announcements, submit questions for discussion, and to join the Let Us Eat Cake community, please join or reach out using the accounts.

Join Ali and Hannah as they navigate messages from diet culture telling us all what to eat, how to look, what’s good, what’s bad, what’s cool, what’s moral. They will speak not only as dietitians, but also as young adults in a
“no-filter” manner who have no problem having a good laugh along the way.
