Cynthia Bulik, PhD, discusses a genome-wide association study she led that identified eight locations on the genome that are significantly associated with anorexia nervosa. The study, which was published 15 July 2019 in Nature Genetics, also shows that the origins of this serious disorder appear to be both metabolic and psychiatric.
