In addition to her significant television career, Ruth Buzzi appeared in a number of other TV episodes and films. She appeared as Margie “Pete” Peterson, a friend of the main character played by Marlo Thomas, in the comedy series That Girl.

Buzzi also appeared in the science fiction show The Lost Saucer, produced by Sid and Marty Krofft, alongside Jim Nabors. She played Fi, one of the time-traveling androids in this series. From September 11, 1975, through September 2, 1976, The Lost Saucer aired 16 episodes.

Buzzi co-starred in the Canadian children’s comedy show You Can’t Do That on Television, also known as Whatever Turns You On, in 1979.

She appeared as a guest star on other popular shows such as Alice in 1981, where she portrayed Chloe, the wife of a phone company employee, and Down to Earth in 1985.

Buzzi also appeared on Donny & Marie, The Flip Wilson Show, The Dean Martin Music and Comedy Hour, The Carol Burnett Show, Tony Orlando and Dawn, The Monkees, Emergency!, and variety shows hosted by Leslie Uggams and Glen Campbell.

She performed on game programs on occasion and was a celebrity judge on The Gong Show. Buzzi even featured in an episode of Lucille Ball’s final comedy series, Life with Lucy, as Mrs. Wilcox in the episode “Lucy Makes a Hit with John Ritter.”
