Sam Raimi Wife: Who Is Gillian Greene?

Gillian Greene is the wife of American filmmaker, producer, and actor Sam Raimi.

Gillian Greene and Sam Raimi have been married since 1993.

Gillian Greene is also a film director and producer and she was introduced into the world of filmmaking at a young age through her father, veteran actor Lorne Greene.

After spending time with her father on set, Greene began to pursue acting, and went on to appear on Bonanza and Battlestar Galactica.

Greene made her directorial debut in 2010 with the short film Fanboy, a film which follows the story of a young man from South Carolina who makes the journey to Los Angeles when he learns his favorite director, Sam Raimi, is holding auditions for his next film.

The film was a passion project for Greene because the movie centered around her husband Sam Raimi.

In 2014, Greene directed the feature film Murder of a Cat, a film which reunited Greene with actors J.K Simmons and Fran Kranz, both of whom star in ‘Fanboy.’

Sam Raimi and Gillian Greene have five children, three of whom (daughter Emma Rose and sons Lorne and Henry) appeared as extras in Drag Me to Hell, and in Spider-Man 3 during the movie’s final battle.
