Jill Florio is the amiable wife of American sportswriter, commentator, and radio host, Mike Florio.
Jill grew up in West Virginia alongside her three siblings. She attended Notre Dame High School where she was valedictorian of her graduating class.
Jill continued her education at Fairmount State College and later went on to study law at West Virginia University, where she graduated second in her law class.
Jill worked for Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC in Pittsburgh immediately following her graduation.
She eventually returned to the Washington area to work for Steptoe & Johnson. It was here that she practiced labor and employment law.
Notably, she served as a member of the West Virginia and Harrison County Bar Associations, the Board of Directors for United Summit Center, the Board of Directors for the United Health Foundation, the Harrison County Catholic Schools Mission Advancement Committee, and the Leadership Committee for the Harrison County United Way.
Currently, Jill and Mike are residing in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
They have one son named Alex who is also a graduate of West Virginia University.
